Aesthetic clinic website design: A site that books consultations, and keeps you inside the rules.

For injectables, skin and laser clinics. Your practitioners up front, every treatment explained properly, and prescription-only medicines kept where the ASA wants them. One printed price, every account in your clinic’s name, nothing to pay us each month.

Business build £3,950, paid once. Ex VAT.

Example A clinic homepage on a phone. In its list of treatments, “Botox” is struck through and replaced with “Consultation for lines and wrinkles”, because the ASA says a clinic should advertise the consultation and never name the prescription-only medicine.

Before a first treatment

What a nervous first-time client checks before they book

  1. Who will treat me

A real name and photo, the qualification, and the register it sits on: the NMC for nurses, the GMC for doctors, the GDC for dentists. With the number, so they can look it up.

  2. What it involves

A page for each treatment that covers the consultation, how long it takes, the downtime, the aftercare and the risks, in plain words.

  3. What it costs

A clear price list on a page of its own. Prescription-only treatments stay off the homepage, and nothing on the list pushes anyone to choose on price.

  4. Whether it is genuine

Results shown only where the rules allow, with signed and dated proof behind every photo. No filters and no borrowed images.

Where clinic sites most often fall short, treatment by treatment: what clinic websites get wrong.

Built in, not bolted on

The rules your website has to follow

The ASA’s guidance covers what a clinic says on its own website, not only its paid ads. These three shape how we lay your site out, as the guidance stands at the time of writing.

The full rules: can you advertise Botox?
  1. Name the consultation, never the medicine

No prescription-only medicine on the homepage, in the logo, in testimonials or in hover text. Inner pages can describe it, factually, as one possible outcome of a consultation.

Source: ASA, prescription-only medicines on websites

  2. Prices on a page of their own

A price list that includes those treatments stays off the homepage, makes no claims for the medicine and never sells it on price, so no discounts.

Source: ASA, prescription-only medicines on websites

  3. Careful with before-and-afters

None for a prescription-only treatment, even without a caption. For anything else, genuine photos only, with signed and dated proof they have not been manipulated.

Rented, or yours

Instagram and the booking apps bring clients in. Your own site is laid out to follow the ASA’s guidance.

On Instagram or a booking app

  • On Instagram, a post or a hashtag that names the medicine is likely to count as an ad for it, so the feed can't say plainly what you offer.
  • Before-and-afters of a prescription-only treatment can't go up at all, however good the result.
  • A booking app shows your consultations in its layout and its order, beside the next injector along.

On a site the clinic owns

  • Domain, hosting, code and editor, all in your clinic's name from day one.
  • The homepage leads with the consultation, and the treatment detail sits behind it, where the ASA expects it.
  • Nothing to pay us each month. The one running cost is your domain renewal, at cost.

Clinic owners ask

Can my website show before-and-after photos?

Not for a prescription-only treatment such as botulinum toxin. The ASA says that imagery, even with no claims beside it, is very likely to be seen as an ad for the medicine. For other treatments, use genuine photos only, and keep signed and dated proof that they have not been manipulated.

Can I put Botox prices on my website?

Yes, in a price list away from the homepage. At the time of writing, the ASA's guidance is that the list makes no claims about the medicine and does not encourage anyone to choose it on price, so no discount offers on it. The homepage advertises the consultation instead.

Can the site mention Botox at all?

On inner pages, as balanced, factual information about one possible outcome of a consultation. Never on the homepage, in the logo, in testimonials or in hover text. The wording the ASA gives as acceptable is "a consultation for lines and wrinkles".

Does the website keep us within the ASA rules?

The build is laid out to follow the ASA's guidance as it stands at the time of writing: the homepage, treatment pages, price list and gallery are set out the way it describes. What the clinic publishes after launch, from a new treatment page to an Instagram post, is the clinic's own to keep within it.

Will it work with my booking software?

Booking that syncs with your calendar, and enquiry forms that are routed and tracked, come with Business. Taking a deposit when someone books, or linking the clinic software you already use, is the advanced integration add-on, at the price printed in the configurator.

Who owns the site?

Your clinic does, from day one. The domain, hosting, code and editor are set up in your own accounts and we are added as a collaborator, so the site stays put whoever you work with next.

What do I pay after launch?

Your domain renewal, at cost. Hosting and the editor run on free tiers in your own accounts, so nothing comes to us unless you choose a care plan.
